Gopher Sp[orts?

March 28, 2007: Not much has been going in my world of Christmas, so let's break another rule, and talk about Gopher sports. As I have had a chance to reflect on the new acusation in Minnesota, i.e. Tubby Smith, I decided a few comments should be made. I really couldn't be happier about this because it is the first time any Minnesota sports team has drawn a high profile coach. Professional or college. Maybe this will start a trend that propells our sports teams unto greater heights. And what a great move for Tubby, hated in Kentucky, he will become the most loved man in Minnesota if he gets the team to the tournament. Kentucky fans (although I am one) are far too much like Yankee fans. They are only happy unless they win a tournament, and then it is more relief than joy. Let's see what happens. Go Gopher Basketball! (The football team still sucks)
